On Saturday, July 22, from 11-3 pm, Cierra Cobb will join partners from I Will Survive, Fulton County BHDD, Anthem-Elevance Health, and Dragon Boat Atlanta, for an online event to raise awareness about mental health for “National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.” Racial and ethnic minority communities in the United States face unique mental health challenges.
We all know that our mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, and it determines how we think, feel, act, handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Let us heal ourselves together, as we work to envision a world that takes care of people, rather than locks them away.
