The Black Futures Lab kicks off its fourth year with its newest cohort of public policy institute fellows. This impressive group spans six states, including North Carolina.
Emancipate NC’s very own Executive Director, Dawn Blagrove, along with Kerwin Pittman, and Cierra Cobb will represent the Tarheel State in driving the conversation around alternative policing strategies, police accountability, and criminal justice reform.
For the next eight months, this cohort will work to create a network designed to build Black political power, advocacy, and policy towards creating better communities across our country for Black people.
