Emancipate NC is reminding everyone to check their voter registration status today and make sure their information is current. Whether you’ve moved, changed your name, or simply haven’t checked your registration recently, taking a few minutes to verify your information can help avoid problems when it’s time to vote.
Knowing your voter rights is just as important as knowing your registration status. Do you know what identification you may need? What your voting options are? What to do if you encounter a problem at the polls? Understanding your rights can help you feel prepared and confident when casting your ballot.
Not sure how much you know? Take our quick, easy, and anonymous voter rights quiz—and then share it with your friends, family, coworkers, classmates, and community.
The more people who know their rights, the better prepared our communities are to protect the freedom to vote.
Check your status. Know your rights. Take the quiz. Share the quiz. Make your voice heard.
