Join Team Emancipate’s Kerwin Pittman, Jaelyn Miller, and Justice League Fellow April Scales Barber, along with our friends at NC Coalition for Alternatives to the Death Penalty on December 2nd from 1:00 to 2:30 pm in Raleigh for a rally demanding immediate commutation of our state’s 138 death sentences! This event is part of the month-long Vigil for Freedom and Racial Justice held annually in Raleigh. Register here!
We will gather at 1:00 pm across the street from the Governor’s Mansion (200 E Jones St) for a brief program of music and speeches, as well as an opportunity to connect with others in our state who are seeking justice. After the program, we will march the perimeter of the Mansion. Bring your friends and family so we can completely encircle the Governor’s residence!
