On February 8th, community members and organizers gathered at the Duke Memorial United Methodist Church in solidarity with prisoners enduring unjust conditions at the Durham County Jail. The center of the event was a life-size replica of a solitary confinement cell.

Over the past several months, UNC law students have been interviewing people detained at the Durham County Jail as part of an investigation into conditions of confinement and over-use of lock-down.
