We proclaim June as Stolen Children’s Month, a month dedicated to honoring children and families impacted by systems of separation and building collective power among those most affected.
Founded by Ashley Albert, Stolen Children’s Month is a narrative and advocacy campaign that builds political will to end family separation and cultivates communities of care for impacted families in healing and repair. We honor children separated through the family policing system, immigration detention, youth incarceration, private adoption, forced treatment facilities, and other systems that separate families.
Join us as we kick off Stolen Children’s Month with a virtual rally and community vigil on June 1 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET.
