In today’s political conditions, North Carolina’s women face myriad issues. At their Moving Forward Together event, Wake Dems convened three speakers for Women’s History Month to share about their experience and work confronting these issues in different sectors. Dawn Blagrove was one of them. Speaking from her intersectional position as a Black woman, Dawn shared about what it means to fight to dismantle structural racism and mass incarceration all across NC.
