Dawn Blagrove spoke to a crowd of hundreds gathered in Raleigh, NC last week to protest the baseless challenge to Allison Riggs’s North Carolina Supreme Court seat. Working with Common Cause, ACLU of NC, Forward Justice, and others, Emancipate NC sponsored rallies across North Carolina to stop the real steal. “Protesting is a way to show and remind the people in power to whom they are accountable and that is us,” Dawn said at the rally.
Jefferson Griffin is a losing candidate who is bold enough to try to invalidate votes after the fact. But experts fear that this tactic may spread to other races in North Carolina—and to other States. It is a slippery slope when a loser tries to peek behind every ballot cast to try to manufacture a challenge.
