We invite you to join us for the EMANCIPATED CLE on February 27 in Durham — a full day of learning, connection, and practical tools for justice-focused lawyering.
This year’s program features:
- Andreina Malki, organizer with Siembra NC, on effective advocacy and response strategies in ICE-related cases
- Dawn Blagrove on attorney mental health, creativity, and sustaining yourself through movement lawyering
- Jaelyn Miller, Peter Gilbert, and Sarah D’Amato on tenants’ rights and housing justice advocacy
- Panels on the ethical representation of incarcerated people and building a people-centered criminal defense practice
Participants will earn both their ethics credit and mental health/professional well-being credit — and lunch from Alpaca is included.
