Jaelyn Miller worked with Reem Subei, Vice President of the NC Muslim Bar Association, and other attorneys to advocate on behalf of the UNC-Chapel Hill student protestors who, in violation of their First and Fourteenth Amendment rights, were wrongfully arrested and suspended. Miller and the other attorneys successfully got the students’ suspensions rescinded, and the students were allowed to return to UNC’s campus and attend graduation. This came after our letter to the University that we shared in the last newsletter.
