Kerwin Pittman, executive director of the nonprofit Recidivism Reduction Educational Program Services and Policy and Program Lead at Emancipate NC, has launched North Carolina’s first Mobile Recidivism Reduction Center.

Launched in January, this innovative mobile unit brings critical reentry services directly to people and communities across the state—helping justice-involved individuals access the resources they need to successfully rebuild their lives after incarceration.

The program represents a major step forward in breaking down barriers to reentry and reducing recidivism through support, education, and community engagement.
