Emancipate NC is proud to partner with the NAACP Sanford (Lee County) Branch for the Justice Bus Tour Community Expungement Clinic & Second Chance Resource Fair on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Gospel Lighthouse Church, 407 W. McIntosh Street, Sanford, NC.
Dawn Blagrove, Executive Director of Emancipate NC, will serve as the featured legal presenter. Attendees can receive expungement eligibility screenings, meet with volunteer attorneys, get assistance with expungement paperwork, connect with reentry and workforce resources, and access free health screenings and other community services.
Participants should bring a photo ID, a copy of their North Carolina criminal record (if available), and any relevant court documents. Pre-registration is encouraged.
